National Advanced IPv6 Centre successfully conducted Android Fundamentals Workshop on 25th and 26th of June 2011. This is the very first time NAv6 offered such course which managed to attract 20 participants from various organizations locally.

NAv6 took the initiative to conduct this workshop to quench the knowledge thirst of people who are interested in Android, a widely used mobile platform in the current smart phone market. The 2-days workshop was conducted by three in-house trainers, Selvakumar Manickam, Christopher Ooi and Hemananthan Palakarnim.

The course covered a number of important elements to help the participants get started, understand and build simple Android applications. The workshop was ended with the ceremony of handing over Certificate of Attendance to the participants. This workshop is just a baby step on Android and NAv6 wishes to conduct more similar trainings in future.
