Objective of Workshop:
The workshop is aimed at sharing and updating the latest information and progress of a variety of current and future IPv6 technology issues and topics. Besides that, the workshop is also aimed at encouraging and establishing connection between the MYREN member organizations.

Outcome of Workshop:
The workshop has successfully conducted knowledge transfer amongst the participants (both from IPTA/IPTS and also the industry). There were 10 presentations which has mixed participation from local universities, private universities and also the industry people presenting on topics that benefitted all the participants. A total of 31 participants joined the workshop. The participants made full use of this workshop by getting connected with their respective peers that are working and researching in the area of IPv6.
Moreover, some of the participants have mooted out ideas on collaborating in applying some research grants (i.e E-Science, Research University Grant (RU-Grant), and TM Grant) that would benefit the MYREN member organization as a whole. This idea was welcomed by all the participants and the IPv6 WG decided in focusing on IPv6 Security for the next three years as a target area to collaborate together.
