Organized by National Advanced IPv6 Centre (NAv6), in cooperation with School of Computer Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, Université de Franche-Comté,France, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia, and Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
DFmA 2012 aims to bring together the researchers fromacademia and the experts from industry around the world to present, and discuss with objectives to share knowledge and experience in the research field of Next Generation Network/Internet. Next Generation Internet/Network (NGI/NGN) is a broad term to describe some key architectural evolutions in telecommunications core and access networks that will be deployed over the next 5-10 years. The general idea behind NGI/NGN is that one network transports all information and services (voice, data, and all sorts of media such as video) by encapsulating these into packets for communication over the Internet. It is not just about a common transport network but also the creation or development of new technologies, innovative service architectures, and etc. It is held in Taylor’s University, Subang Jaya, Malaysia from 1–2Nov 2012.
The conference is multi-track and features a technical program with significant opportunities for individual and small-group discussions among a diverse set of participants. The technical sessions will include invited talks by leading experts, presentations of papers, demos, posters and pre-conference activities (workshop in IPv6 and others on 31Oct 2012)
