APAN (Asia-Pacific Advanced Network) is a non-profit international consortium established to facilitate a network for research and development on advanced next generation applications and services in the Asia-Pacific region and promotes global collaboration.

Prof. Dr. Sureswaran Ramadass presented and actively participated in sessions on IPv6, SIP H323, Event Committee, Program Committee, Network Security and related topics. The Malaysian Government... strategies for the IPv6 implementation were outlined. The members were also briefed on the updates from the five working groups, such as IPv6, Future Internet Textbed, Security, SIP H323, and Sensor Network in the Network Technology Area.
